Special/Memorable Moments:
My grandma Julie, Groβmutter, and Paka were all cremated at their deaths, their ashes were cast into the sea and stone benches with bronze plaques were placed on the shoreline in their memory. Once a year we would go and toss roses into the sea at the same place we had cast their ashes. Standing there every year, feeling the waves crash against the rocks beneath my feet, the sound of the ocean drowning out even thought. With the taste of salt on my lips, the spray of the ocean chilling my cheeks and the grey sky stretching out to meet the ocean beyond the horizon. These moments etched themselves deep within my memory, and became not only treasured and beautiful, but something I would like to happen to myself one day.
Fun Fact: I’m pretty much renowned for my sarcasm in every group I join.
